Dry, rough skin on body

Details:
If you have dry and wrinkled skin on your arms, legs and chest, this is a really fast acting cure. It is also good for hands.

Ingredients:
You need a bottle of glycerin, which can be bought anywhere, and glycolic acid. Glycolic acid can be bought on line in different strengths

How to prepare:
Get a clean glass bottle and mix the glycerin with the glycolic acid at up to 15% strength depending on how sensitive your skin is. As you get used to it you can increase the strength.

How to use:
Shake the bottle and spread over the affected areas. You don't have to rub it in, it will sink in after about 5 minutes. DO NOT wash it off. It will probably sting at first, but that wears off quite quickly You must wear rubber gloves to apply the solution. Or you will have peeling palms!

Results (observed by submitter):
After a few days my skin started to look smoother. I have been using it for a few weeks and I can't believe the difference. My skin was very dry and most of that has gone. Also brown marks have faded from my hands

Costs involved:
Minimal

Aloe Vera Moisturizer

Details:
A good tip that I picked up and found to be successful as a moisturizer is using Aloe Vera on my skin. The brand suggested was Fruit of the Earth and this is what I was fortunate to pick up at my local Dollar Store. It was only after just a few weeks usage on my face that I noticed my skin looking more dewy and smooth. Too add to this regimen, it was suggested to me that I could make my own body moisturizer at home. The 'homemade' recipe called for the same Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera Gel (in tube) along with petroleum jelly (in tube) and the last item was any baby lotion. Since I found all the products at the dollar store, my investment was $3 + tax! You just mix it all together and store in an inexpensive jar or I just use a small plastic/tupperware type container. It is wonderfully rich, not too thick and very moisturizing. I just love it! You can also pick and choose some variants as now baby lotions come in some nice scents like lavender, chamomile, or just fragrance free. You be the artist!

Ingredients:
Homemade moisturizer: 1 tube (plastic squeeze top is fine) of Fruit of the Earth Aloe Vera gel; 1 tube petroleum jelly (which I found with Vit. E in it and is a gel type also); 1 tube (squeeze top container) baby lotion.

How to prepare:
Mix equal parts together and store in airtight container. Wala! An inexpensive moisturizer that works! My understanding is that this recipe has been passed down in generations for years now. Sometimes it seems the 'oldies' are always the 'goodies'.

Results (observed by submitter):
My body was moisturized without any sticky film or waiting for it to soak in or dry first. After a short while I did not have to moisturize daily.

Costs involved:
$3.00

Natural Exfoliant + Wrinkle Reduction

Details:
Combine about a half a cup of whole milk and some fresh lemon juice. Just mix it together with your finger. The mild will get little condensed. Apply on your face and neck, probably over a sink as this is pretty liquid. Then lay down for about 20 - 25 min and let it dry out. You will feel the mask tightening as it dries out. Lemon with its acidity provides natural enzymatic exfoliation plus it contains the vitamin C that reduces wrinkles and milk contains the lactic acid that also benefits skin.

Ingredients:
Milk and lemons

Results (observed by submitter):
Skin looks fresh, rejuvenated, cleaned, younger, wrinkles under the eyes are less visible.

Costs involved:
Minimal
