Reducing fine lines under eyes

For the last few years I have noticed considerably more fine lines under my eyes along with some minor crow's feet. At age 45 I was frantic to find a solution. I kept having girls at department store cosmetic counters telling me my eyes were dehydrated. I tried several expensive eye creams which would work for a few minutes and then the lines would return.
After much trial and error I found a solution that works well for me. I switched my cleanser to a milder one. I like Paula's Choice normal to dry cleanser. I follow with a vitamin C solution in the morning all over my face. I use Platinum Skin's C Serum. At night I alternate between prescription Tretinoin .05% cream and Kinerase since the Tretinoin is a bit strong to use daily. This regimen has vastly improved the lines around my eyes in about 6 weeks. I still have a few deeper lines around my mouth that have softened but am still hoping for a more dramatic result.

Details:
Given the high price of some eyecreams, make sure you use the right amount. Overuse of eyecreams does your eye area no favors! Using a smaller amount means that eye skin doesn't get weighed down by creams.
Ingredients:
Eye cream of choice, ring fingers (they are much gentler than other fingers!)
How to prepare:
No preparation necessary.
How to use:
pump or squeeze out a rice grain amount of eyecream or gel onto your ring finger. Press together with your other ring finger and tap around the eye area. Tapping also helps improve circulation and lymph drainage (two tips for the price of one!). Don't rub or you may stretch your eye skin!
Results (observed by submitter):
Longer lasting eyecream, less eye irritation and less puffy eyes.
